Strengthening Anticipatory Action Through Collaboration ๐Ÿค

A Stakeholder Engagement Meeting was successfully conducted at Aaghosh Hotel, Muzaffargarh, by Sanjh Preet Organization, with the support of Save the Children Pakistan Program under the Education Cannot Wait (ECW) project.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders to strengthen coordination, collaboration, and collective support for Anticipatory Action, with a shared commitment to ensuring timely and effective preparedness and response for vulnerable communities.

Sanjh Preet Organization, with the support of Save the Children Pakistan Program, School Education Department, South Punjab, and District Education Authority, Multan, conducted training for School Management Committees (SMCs) on the development of School Readiness and Evacuation Plans in Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan.

The session focused on strengthening preparedness, defining roles and responsibilities, identifying safe evacuation routes, and ensuring coordinated action during emergencies. Together, we are working to make schools safer, more prepared, and resilient for every child.

Under the โ€œRiverine Flood Anticipatory Actions 2026โ€ Project, Sanjh Preet Organization with the support of Save the Children Pakistan Program , conducted a Two-Day Project Staff Training on Child Protection, Psychological First Aid (PFA), Safeguarding, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) on 5โ€“6 August 2026 in Multan.

The training brought project staff together to strengthen their knowledge, skills and preparedness to ensure that children, families and communities remain protected and supported before, during, and after emergencies.

As climate-related emergencies continue to place vulnerable communities at greater risk, investing in the capacity of frontline teams is essential to ensuring that anticipatory action is not only timely, but also safe, dignified and centered around the rights and wellbeing of affected communities.

A one-day Refresher Training on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) was successfully conducted at the CEO-DEA Complex, Muzaffargarh, with participation from all targeted schools.

The training was organized by Sanjh Preet Organization in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, Save the Children Pakistan Program, and District Education Authority, Muzaffargarh under the Education Cannot Wait programme.
