We regularly hold technical workshops, seminars & competitions related to software engineering and computer science in general. ACM, the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. ACM provides the computing field's premier digital library. NUCES ACM is responsible for organizing all the programming, gaming,
quizzes and other competitions that involve technology. We also organize seminars, workshops and mapping parties. EVENTS:

All Pakistan Quiz & Programming Competition:
In March 2002, NUCES-ACM Student Chapter successfully hosted the All Pakistan Quiz and Programming Competition. As many as 75 teams from all major institutions and Software houses in the country participated in the various competitions. At the time, the competition was the largest of its kind ever organized in Pakistan. REDMATH All Lahore Programming Competition:
NUCES-ACM Student Chapter successfully hosted the REDMATH Lahore Programming Competition on the 26th of April, 2008. The event was well received and was highly successful. As many as 35 teams from all major institutions in the city participated in the competition making it one of the premier intra-city competitions of Lahore. SOFTEC Programming Competition:
Since 2002, NUCES-ACM Student Chapter has collaborated with the SOFTEC Society to organize the Programming Competition at SOFTEC, an annual 2-day I.T. The event is the largest of its kind in South Asia. The Programming Competition has traditionally been the trump card for SOFTEC, being it’s most crucial and electrifying event. Most recently, at the SOFTEC 2007 Programming Competition, NUCES-ACM received as many as 55 participating teams from all over Pakistan, as well as 2 teams each from Iran and Bangladesh. At the SOFTEC 2006 Dynamic Programming Competition, a record 10 foreign, including 8 from India and 2 from Bangladesh, and 45 local teams competed in the event. IEEE WEEK Coder Competition:
NUCES-ACM Student Chapter also collaborates with IEEE-NUCES every year to organize The Coder Competition at the IEEE Week, held at an annual basis at FAST-NU. Again, it is the most anticipated event at the Week. In the event’s 2007 edition, as many as 35 teams from all over the country participated in the competition. Regular Features (2008/2009)

Geek Week is an annual event organized by NUCES ACM. It is considered one of the biggest Computing & Technology extravaganzas in Pakistan. Students and professionals bring forth their work, and well-known professionals and academicians are invited to judge it.
