LUMS and Faysal Bank Limited set grounds for a shared commitment to expanding access to quality education and investing in Pakistan’s future leaders.

During a visit to LUMS, Faysal Bank reaffirmed its support for the National Outreach Programme (NOP), while a commemorative plaque was unveiled recognising the Bank’s contribution towards the naming of an auditorium in the Academic Block.

The delegation was led by Mian Mohammad Younis, Chairman; Mr. Hafiz Mohammad Yousaf, Director; and Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO, who also toured the campus and engaged with the LUMS community.

LUMS was pleased to welcome a delegation from Google, led by Sapna Chadha, Vice President (Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier), and Farhan Qureshi, Cluster Director (Pakistan, Thailand, and Philippines), along with members of the Google team, for a visit to campus.

The delegation toured key facilities across the University, including the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, the Maker's Lab, and the Rausing Executive Development Centre. The visit concluded with a meet-and-greet session, where the Google team met with LUMS leadership and faculty.

The engagement created an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and future-ready talent, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening education, research, and industry-academia collaboration.
