The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF)
A Company setup under section 42 of the companies Act 2017)
aims to provide equitable opportunities of education to under privileged but brightest boys and girls. Our objective is to bring brilliant but needy students to the best academic institutions and help them realize their potential and fulfill their dreams. This is akin to realizing the dream of a progressive and prosperous Pakistan.

10th National Writers’ Conference on Children Literature 2026
Writers Can Play a Vital Role in Social Welfare: Dr. Amjad Saqib
Writers and intellectuals can spark social transformation through the power of the pen and play a decisive role in challenging illiteracy, poverty, and injustice. These views were shared by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Chairman of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) and founder of Akhuwat , while addressing the 10th National Writers’ Conference 2026 held at Akhuwat University. The conference was jointly organized by Monthly Phool, Academy of Children’s Literature, and Akhuwat with PEEF as one of the main sponsors.
He shared that Akhuwat began with a single Rs. 10,000 interest-free loan and later established Pakistan’s first tuition-free university in 2014, where over 400 deserving students are studying with full support. He further acknowledged the impactful role of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) in promoting educational equity across Punjab. PEEF has emerged as Rs. 1 billion company but now its endowment fund has risen to over 17 billion. To date, PEEF has been awarded over 490,000 scholarships amounting to Rs. 32.05 billion, enabling countless deserving students to pursue higher education and contribute meaningfully to society.

The five-day colorful literary event was inaugurated by the Honorable Provincial Minister for School Education, Punjab, Rana Sikandar Hayat, marking a strong commitment to the promotion of reading culture and education across the province.
The book fair featured an impressive collection of rare and latest publications presented by renowned publishers and organizations, with attractive discounted rates that captivated book lovers, students, and academics alike.
The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) made a notable impact through its informative stall, actively engaging with visitors and highlighting educational opportunities available under initiatives such as the Chief Minister’s Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program. A Tribute to Pakistan’s Strength and Unity
The Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore, organized a special event to show support for Pakistan’s mission to protect its borders, promote unity, and encourage patriotism among the youth. The main attraction of the event was a dramatic performance by students based on the theme “Operation Bunyan Marsous”, which means “a structure made of lead.” The performance honored the bravery and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, showing their strength and commitment to defending our country.
Rana Nasir Subhani from the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) also attended the event. He addressed the students and encouraged them to support the Pakistan Army and Government above all political divisions. He stressed the importance of unity, discipline, and standing together during difficult times. This powerful event reminded everyone that the youth are the future of Pakistan, and with the right values, they can help build a peaceful and strong nation.

PEEF held a 2-day training session under the Soft Skills Development Program (SSDP) at the University of Sargodha (UOS) on May 16th and 17th, 2024. This event underscores our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.The training was inaugurated by the esteemed Professor Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin, Pro Vice Chancellor of UOS. In his welcome note, he emphasized the importance of soft skills for students' holistic growth and their seamless transition into the professional world. Dr. Yasin remarked, "A country's progress is intricately linked to the capabilities of its workforce."
Mr. Zeeshan Javaid, Verification and Disbursement Officer at PEEF, highlighted the incredible opportunity for PEEF scholars to enhance their skills and gain valuable insights. He reaffirmed PEEF's commitment to empowering students not only financially but also with essential skills for academic and professional success.
