THAAP Under THAAP, International Conferences are held on annual basis, while Seminars, Colloquiums, Consult

First International Thaap Conference was on "Historiography of Architecture in Pakistan and the Region", held on November 26-27, 2010, at Lahore, in which 18 papers were presented. The second International Thaap Conference was on "Portrait of Lahore: Capital City of The Punjab", held on November 11-18, 2011 in which 25 papers were presented. Various cultural events were also held along the theme o

f 'Celebrating Lahore' in which an Exhibition of Student's work, cultural evening, theatre, film festival, talks, book exhibition, and mushaira were taken place. The third International Thaap Conference was on ''LIFE IN SMALL TOWNS'', held on November 09-12, 2012, in which 35 papers were presented. Various exhibitions and cultural programs were held at the University of Gujrat, the University of Punjab, the University of Engineering & Technology, and Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. The fourth International Thaap Conference was on "Cultural Roots of Art and Architecture of the Punjab", held on December 06-10, 2013, in which 20 papers were presented. Art Exhibitions, Cultural Programs were held at Gallery 39K, the University of Punjab, University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, University of Gujrat, and National College of Arts Lahore along with city tours to Gujrat, Wazirabad and Harrapa. Fifth International Thaap Conference was on "Culture, Art, and Architecture of the Marginalized and the Poor" held on 7-10 November 2014 in which 28 papers were presented. Three pilot projects: Research Exposition, Photography Exhibition, and Film Screening were launched and received an overwhelming response. Programs were held at Gallery 39K, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore with visits to the Walled City and the Lahore Fort culminating with a play by Ajoka Theater. The Sixth International Thaap Conference on "People's History of Pakistan" was held on 6-8 November 2015 at THAAP. 38 papers were presented at the conference. International THAAP Photography Exhibition, Art Exhibition, and musical evening were held at THAAP, Kinnaird College for women, and Gallery 39K. The seventh International THAAP conference on “People and the City” was held on 11-13 Nov 2016 at THAAP, Lahore. 23 papers were presented at the conference and 14 papers were also presented at the 1st International THAAP photography Conference on the same theme. Painting Exhibition and Film Screenings were also held at Ejaz Art Gallery, IT University, and Government College University. The Eighth International THAAP conference in collaboration with the Government College University Lahore and with the support of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan was held on the theme of “The City, an evolving organism “. The conference was held from 10-12 November 2017 at 43-G, Gulberg-III, Lahore. Photography Exhibition, Illustrated talk, and informal Talk with the artists were also held at Government College University. The ninth International THAAP Conference in collaboration with the Institute for Art and Culture was held on 1-3 Nov 2018 at THAAP, Lahore. The theme of the conference was “Art, Tolerance, and Democracy “ and 15 research papers were presented in the session. Photography Exhibition was also held at the Institute for Art and Culture along the same theme. The tenth International THAAP conference on “Citizen and the City” was held on 1-3 Nov 2019 at THAAP, Lahore . 26 papers were presented at the conference. Interactive games, Photography Exhibition, Film Screening, a Musical evening, Night Tour to Lahore Fort, and a cultural evening were also celebrated at THAAP and Lahore Fort. The eleventh International THAAP conference shall be held on 19 Nov 2022 at THAAP. The conference being held on “Archeology and Living Cultural Heritage of the Harappa Civilization” shall include Paper Reading sessions , exhibition and round table Session .
