The USCE Roadmap: Beyond MBBS was a valuable session with Dr. Zain Bin Saeed, MD, for students exploring the path to U.S. Clinical Experience.

From understanding the different types of USCE (electives, observerships, externships, and research fellowships) to finding opportunities, preparing applications, writing effective cold emails, and planning costs and timelines, the session offered a practical roadmap for getting started.

IFMSA-AIMC LC and ISAAR-AIMC came together for the Plant for Pakistan drive, taking a massive step forward in our mission toward greening the future. The volunteers successfully planted two thousand new saplings, pushing us closer to our ultimate ten-thousand-tree milestone.

We are pleased to announce Wajeeha Fatima ( )as the President of IFMSA AIMC-LC for the term 2026.

Wajeeha has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our mission, representing AIMC-LC and IFMSA Pakistan at prominent international platforms like APRM 2026 in Hong Kong, where she completed the Pre-APRM TNT Workshops, as well as APRM 2025 in Osaka and she was also selected as delegate for the March Meeting 2024 in Ecuador.

Nationally, she serves as the Programme Coordinator for Teaching Medical Skills within the VPA National Team. Her extensive contributions span various other national and local initiatives, including her work with Walkway to UK, Brewing Minds, Far from Home, Imposter No More, and many others.

We have the utmost confidence in Wajeeha’s leadership and look forward to a year of meaningful growth, collaboration, and excellence as we work together to take our local committee to new heights.
