Aalam Bibi Foundation

Aalam Bibi is an innovative educational model of community development. She had no experience of running a school and had limited resources.

The organization has a humble beginning, in year 2005 by FARAH DEEBA AKRAM at a young age and still herself a graduate student, started the school in a slum area of Chungi Amer Sidhu Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. She rented a small house in the locality and 60 students enrolled. The school was run solely by Farah Deeba Akram using her Pocket money and funds donated by her father. She was the alone teacher

and administrator of the school in the beginning. With Almighty Allah’s blessings and through her hard and dedicated work, the school soon gained attention and many generous donors joined the project. Parents of community who were initially sceptical started to support the cause, by sending their kids to school regularly and attending parent teacher meetings. Every passing year number of students increased. The lives of the children changed completely in a positive way.

Hamid Khalil visited Aalam bibi Foundation and interacted with the students during his visit. He spent time talking with the children and showed interest in their studies and school activities.
