For the past 10 years, Sheepmaster Ministries has faithfully fed 50 widow families every single month in rural Pakistan — that’s 6,000+ rations delivered with prayer, tears, and the love of Jesus. We never missed a month. Rain, flood, persecution, or lockdown. These widows were never late for a pickup because they knew: “The Men of God will come.”
But these past two years, everything changed.
Many of our long-time monthly donors — precious brothers and sisters who carried this work for a decade — have been hit hard by job loss, serious illnesses, and financial crises. One by one they’ve had to step back. For the first time in 10 years, we’re struggling to reach even half the families. Some widows are waiting and wondering if help is still coming this month.
Look at these fresh photos and video clips from our last distribution to 15 families and let the widows tell you what your partnership has meant all these years:
1. “When my husband died, people said, ‘Now your children will die of hunger.’ But you came with big sacks of flour and oil and called me ‘sister.’ Today my children ate roti with ghee for the first time in two month. I cried more from happiness than I ever cried from sorrow.”.
2. “I was ready to poison myself and my three daughters because the shame of begging was too much. That morning you knocked on my door with food. I believe Jesus sent you to tell me my life still matters.”
3. “My youngest son used to wake up crying every night saying ‘Mummy, my stomach hurts.’ Since you started helping us, he sleeps the whole night and even laughs again. Only a mother knows what that means.”
4. “Neighbors used to say, ‘She’s just a burden now.’ Yesterday the same neighbors saw your team carrying rations into my house and they said, ‘Look, even in her sadness, Allah has not forgotten her.’ I smiled and told them, ‘It’s not Allah who sent this—it’s Jesus, and now I want to know Him.’”
5. “Before, I was selling my body to feed my children. After only three months of your help, I stopped. Now I stitch clothes and my daughters go to school. You gave me back my honor.”
6. “I told my children, ‘Today we will only drink water and sleep.’ Then your van came. My oldest daughter hugged the sack of rice and said, ‘Mummy, Jesus heard us when we prayed in secret!’”
7. “People in the village used to spit when I passed by. Last week the same people asked, ‘Who is helping you?’ I said, ‘Men of God.’ Now they don’t spit anymore. Your love is changing even the haters.”
8. “I named my newborn daughter ‘Iman’ (Faith) the day you brought the first ration. Because for the first time since my husband died, I have faith.”
9. “My mother-in-law said, ‘Take the children and leave, I cannot feed extra mouths.’ You gave us our own rations, so now we have stayed together as family. You saved more than our stomachs—you saved our home.”
10. “I was hiding my tears while dividing one bread into five pieces for my children. You gave us 20 kilos of flour that day. My youngest said, ‘Mummy, are we rich now?’ I told her, ‘No, son, we are loved. And that is better than being rich.’”
We cannot let you hear their own voices because these 50 families have depended on us for a decade… and we cannot let them down now.
We need 50 Kingdom partners who will say, “I’ve got one family this month.”
Just $25 feeds one widow and her children for an entire month.
50 people × $25 = $1,250 → 50 families fed again, just like the last 10 years.
If God puts it on your heart to cover one widow (or even two or three), please message us right now or comment “I’m in” and we’ll send you details.
Let’s not break a 10-year streak of faithfulness.
Let’s show these widows that even when some had to step back, the Body of Christ steps forward.
