From June to July 2026, the Women Facilitation Desks in Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib received 396 complaints from women and community members seeking information, guidance, referrals, and support.

📍 Sheikhupura: 191 complaints
📍 Nankana Sahib: 155 complaints
📍Lahore: 50 complaints

Of these, 359 complaints were resolved, while 37 complaints remain under process.

Each complaint addressed is a step toward improved access to public services, stronger accountability, and the empowerment of women in our communities.

FEM DIGI HUB is a shining example of Positive Pakistan—where investing in young girls creates stronger communities and a brighter future. An initiative of WISE, FEM DIGI HUB equips young women and girls with practical digital skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive in the digital economy through six-month certificate courses in Graphic Design and Video Editing etc, along with training in digital literacy, freelancing, and entrepreneurship. The 1st batch of 15 young girls have successfully completed the course, gaining the skills needed to pursue employment, freelance careers, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

By unlocking the potential of young girls, FEM DIGI HUB is creating pathways to employment, economic independence, and leadership.The inspiring stories young graduates demonstrate how digital education is transforming lives, empowering communities, and contributing to a more inclusive, innovative, and prosperous Pakistan.

As part of the WISE Internship Program, our interns attended an insightful Case Study Orientation Session conducted by Mr. Abdul Khaliq, Researcher. He guided the interns on the fundamentals of documenting case studies, sharing practical techniques and key considerations for capturing success stories in a meaningful, ethical, and impactful way.

The session equipped our interns with essential skills that will support their learning throughout the internship and beyond.

Empowering young girls with digital skills, is key to building an inclusive and prosperous future. With this vision, WISE organised a seminar "Empowering Young Girls for Digital Future", on Friday, in Lahore, bringing together around 80 participants, including digital experts, development practitioners, entrepreneurs, academics and young women, to explore how digital innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership can create sustainable economic opportunities for women and girls in Pakistan.

The panel featured distinguished speakers including Ms. Huma Ilyas, Entrepreneur & Founder of E-Rain; Dr. Amjad Abbas Khan Magsi Head of Pakistan Study Centre, The University of the Punjab; Ms. Sidra Humayun, Program Coordinator Punjab, UN Women Pakistan; Ms. Sabiha Shaheen, Executive Director, Bargad; Mr. Tariq Khan Niazi, Director DWD/DG-PWHA, Women Development Department; Ms. Mahnoor Tariq, Assistant Director LG & CD and Ms. Sam Ali Dada, prominent entrepreneur and Convenor Standing Committee on National Economic Policies & Reforms.

The insightful discussion highlighted the transformative role of digital technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship and inclusive leadership in advancing women's economic empowerment. It was emphasised that a digitally literate and connected generation of girls can become the engine that lifts families out of poverty, strengthens communities and repositions Pakistan as a competitive player in the global digital economy.

A special highlight of the event was the certificate distribution ceremony for 15 graduates of FEM DIGI HUB - A digital skills initiative of WISE, serving the grassroots community of Shahdara, Sheikhupura. Having successfully completed their 6-month course, these young girls are now better equipped to pursue careers, freelancing and entrepreneurship in the digital economy. Through initiatives like FEM DIGI HUB, WISE continues to invest in the potential of young women, creating pathways for economic independence and empowering them to become confident leaders of Pakistan's digital future.
