About the Internship:
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) invites passionate students and fresh graduates to join the PARWAAZ Internship Program — a transformative platform designed to provide hands-on experience in the fields of education, research, gender equality, climate action, digitalization, policy advocacy, and community development.

Interns will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects alongside experienced professionals, contribute to field and desk-based assignments, and gain exposure to real-time challenges in Pakistan’s development sector.

📍 Locations: Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad
📆 Duration: 8–12 weeks (flexible)
🕒 Timing: Part-time or full-time (as mutually agreed)

📌 Eligibility:
✅ Undergraduate or graduate students (all disciplines welcome)
✅ Demonstrated interest in development, education, and social impact
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Teamwork, adaptability, and a growth mindset
✅ Commitment to ITA’s values of inclusivity, child protection, and equity

🎓 Students pursuing degrees in education, social sciences, development studies, gender studies, climate change, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.

She Creates Change TOT 2026

Day 1 of the She Creates Change TOT 2026 marked the beginning of an empowering journey toward transforming classrooms and communities.

We were truly honoured to be joined by two remarkable leaders who set the tone for the entire training:

Reema Shrestha, Director of Girls' Education & Gender Equality Program at Room to Read (joining us live from Nepal), whose vision and dedication to girls' education continue to inspire educators across the globe.

Baela Jamil, CEO of Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), whose powerful insights on education, equity, and change reminded every participant why this work matters so deeply.

From building connections and setting shared expectations to exploring life skills, the role of educators, and understanding gender norms, stereotypes, bias, and discrimination, participants engaged in meaningful discussions that laid the foundation for gender-responsive and learner-centred education.

Together, we are equipping educators with the tools to create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where girls can thrive, lead, and create change.

The learning crisis is not improving quickly enough.

Findings from the 2025 State of Foundational Learning show estimated 617 million children worldwide are not achieving minimum proficiency in reading and mathematics.

While we have made progress in measuring learning, outcomes remain critically low. Data alone won’t change this. Action will.
