A fire broke out in the huts at Jhankara, Sehwon Sharif, due to exposed live electrical wires, engulfing a large area; in no time, several adjacent huts were reduced to heaps of ash. While there was no loss of life, significant financial loss was incurred. The destruction of so many huts is attributed to the lack of firefighting equipment and the fact that the people were untrained in handling such situations.
