🌍 Earth Day Celebration 2026
The Disaster Risk Management Society proudly organized and successfully celebrated Earth Day with a meaningful and engaging event focused on environmental awareness and sustainability.

The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the day.

We were honored to host our distinguished international speaker, Kodchakorn Krutphong from Mahidol University, Thailand, whose insightful lecture on environmental engineering and disaster management enriched the audience with valuable global perspectives. Her session was highly informative and truly inspiring for all participants.

The event also featured poster presentations by our talented students, showcasing their understanding and research on key environmental issues. This was followed by the certificate distribution ceremony to appreciate their efforts and participation.

We were further privileged to gain valuable insights from Sir Yasir Usman and Dr. Shahid Kareem, whose words added depth to the discussion on environmental responsibility. The event concluded with remarks by Dr. Shakeel Mahmood, highlighting the importance of collective action for a sustainable future.

The celebration ended on a joyful note with a cake cutting ceremony and a group photograph, marking the success of the event.
Together, we continue to promote awareness, responsibility, and action for a greener and more sustainable planet.
