Held at the beautiful Sir Ganga Ram Haveli, the evening brought together purpose, gratitude, dinner by Paola’s, and soulful Qawali by Farid Ayaz & Abu Muhammad Qawwal.

Because just one drop can start a wave — and together, we create an ocean.

Eleven students from the Department of Community Medicine King Edward Medical University, along with seven student ambassadors of Friends of Mayo from various A-Level and O-Level schools, actively participated in the distribution of meals at our Iftar Dastarkhwan. Their dedication, compassion, and spirit of volunteerism truly made a meaningful difference in serving the community.

Friends of Mayo Hospital hosted an honorary Thanksgiving Lunch to appreciate the faculty of King Edward Medical University for their support in developing our internship programme.

The event was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mehmood Ayaz, along with the Heads of Psychiatry, Plastic Surgery, and Community Medicine. Certificates of appreciation were presented to all faculty members who contributed through their valuable lectures and guidance.

Closing Ceremony of our Student Ambassadors 2024–2025.

Throughout the year, our Ambassadors worked with commitment and heart. They led outreach activities in their schools and communities, organized fundraisers and bake sales, held awareness sessions, and helped us welcome new candidates batch.
They also collected an impressive amount in donations to support the projects of FRIENDS of Mayo Hospital.

At the ceremony, each student received a Certificate of Completion and a Recommendation Letter from FRIENDS of Mayo Hospital to support their future university admissions. We were also honored to have Prof. Dr. Asad Aslam Khan attend as the Guest of Honour.

We are grateful for our Ambassadors’ hard work, compassion, and dedication.
