Dear medical student,

If you’re fighting battles no one can see — this is for you.

Medical school is demanding, overwhelming, and at times isolating. Behind the books, exams, and expectations, many are quietly struggling with their mental health. And that struggle is real.

You are not alone.
You are not weak.
And you are not any less deserving of your dream.

It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to take a pause. It’s okay to choose yourself, too.

Your journey doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. You deserve support, healing, and happiness — just as much as you deserve to wear that white coat one day.

Take care of your mind the same way you’re learning to care for others 🤍

Healthier Tomorrow
We believe health goes beyond hospitals and clinics - it thrives
in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the environment

taking a collective step toward combating climate change,
reducing our carbon footprint, and creating a greener, healthier

“Having anxiety and depression is like being scared and tired at the same time. It’s the fear of failure, coupled with no urge to be productive. It’s wanting friends but hating socializing. It’s wanting to be alone but not wanting to be lonely.”

Panic Awareness Day, observed annually on July 10th, aims to reduce the stigma surrounding panic disorders and promote understanding of panic attacks. It encourages education on recognizing panic attack symptoms and finding effective coping mechanisms. Panic disorders are a type of anxiety disorder where individuals experience sudden, unexpected panic attacks, often accompanied by intense physical symptoms. This day serves as a reminder that panic attacks are treatable, and help is available for those who need it. By fostering awareness, Panic Awareness Day hopes to empower individuals to seek support and manage their panic attacks effectively.

Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, observed in July, highlights the unique mental health challenges faced by racial and ethnic minorities. These communities often experience barriers like cultural stigma, language differences, and lack of access to culturally competent care, leading to disparities in mental health outcomes. Understanding these barriers and promoting culturally sensitive resources is crucial for improving mental health for all. This month encourages open conversations, combats stigma, and emphasizes the need for equitable access to mental health services. Ultimately, it aims to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to achieve and maintain good mental well-being.
