The Society of Mining Engineers proudly presents a Book Review Session Series, an initiative designed to bring minds together, revive the culture of reading, and reflect on ideas that shape both character and perspective. This is more than just discussing books; it’s about understanding, connecting, and growing through knowledge.

Our first session is dedicated to Seerat-e-Nabi ﷺ, where Sir Zulfiqar Ali will share insights from Raheeq ul Makhtoom by Abdulrehman Mubarakpur, one of the most renowned works on the life of the Prophet ﷺ. Through this session, we aim to explore timeless lessons of leadership, compassion, and purpose that remain deeply relevant in our lives today.

Join us at the Mining Engineering Department Library and be part of a space where learning is shared, thoughts are valued, and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re an avid reader or simply curious, your presence will add to the conversation.

Come with an open mind, and leave with something meaningful.

On behalf of the Society of Mining Engineering (SOME), we pay heartfelt tribute to Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his death anniversary_the great thinker, poet, and visionary who dreamed of a separate homeland for Muslims, which later emerged as Pakistan.

His philosophy of *Khudi* awakened a spirit of self-respect, unity, and purpose among the Muslims of the subcontinent. Today, we remember our national hero whose vision continues to guide and inspire generations toward progress, strength, and faith.

“Nations are born in the hearts of poets, they prosper and die in the hands of politicians.”

The Society of Mining Engineering (SOME) is committed to nurturing future engineers with knowledge, innovation, and a spirit of service, carrying forward the ideals of dedication and excellence inspired by our national heroes.
