After the successful distribution of 100 ration packs at the orphanage, FAWF is delighted to share the achievement of the next chapter with all of you. By the grace of Allah (SWT) we have distributed another 350 ration packs to the underprivileged with the help of your generous contributions!

We are overwhelmed by the response and trust received by all of you. We would like to announce that this is going to be an ongoing process throughout Ramadan. So you may keep your sadqah and zakat coming in and kindly spread the word!

We are delighted to announce that FAWF has successfully distributed 100 ration packs to an Orphanage. Our sincere love and gratitude to everyone who has contributed to make this possible.

The remaining distribution will take place starting from the 1st of Ramadan.

Dear friends and family,

We are one step closer to our first ration drive. Alhamdulilah today we have received 100 ration packs which are scheduled for distribution at the orphanage on Sunday.

We will be receiving the next lot soon which will be distributed by the 1st of Ramadan InshaAllah.

A BIG thank you to everyone who has contributed in making this drive a success and trusting us in our first ever campaign. We are truly overwhelmed and cannot express our gratitude in words.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying, “He who strives to serve a widow and a poor person is like the one who strives in Allah’s way.”

He also reported that when a man complained to the Messenger of Allah of being hardhearted he said, “Show affection to the orphans and feed the poor.”

It was an overwhelming visit to "Mera Ghar orphanage".
We plan to distribute 100 ration packs from our Ramadan campaign to this orphanage because we feel that these children deserve to enjoy the blessings of life as well.

We will require the next few days to make the ration purchase and distribute it to the needy InshaAllah.

FAWF - RAMADAN RATION PACK CAMPAIGN 2021

Ramadan is a very special month for Muslims all over the world. It is that time of the year when we reflect on ourselves spiritually, work on self-improvement and devote ourselves in the act of worshiping Allah (SWT). We try to put more effort into the teachings of Islam, not just by fasting and praying but engaging ourselves in other acts of kindness as well.

One such act is showing compassion towards the underprivileged. This month serves as a great opportunity for Muslims to increase their charitable activities by remembering the less fortunate and providing them with sufficient food supplies that last the entire month.

This year, FAWF initiates its first Ramadan Ration Pack Campaign as a Sadqa Jariya for our late beloved father with an aim to become a helping hand for those in need.

To begin with, our goal is to provide 500 ration packs to needy families this month so that they can enjoy the blessings of life. We believe that nobody should should go hungry, and especially not in the blessed month of Ramadan.

Allah SWT says in the Holy Quran:
And they give food, out of love for Him, to the poor and the orphan and the captive, [saying] “We feed you, for Allah’s pleasure only — We desire from you neither reward nor thanks. Surely we fear from our Lord a stern, distressful day.”

So Allah will ward off from them the evil of that day, and cause them to meet with splendour and happiness; And reward them, for their steadfastness, with a Garden and with silk. (Qur’an 76:5-12)

“Education is the most important aspect of life. You can achieve anything and flourish in life through education.” These were the words of our father which he iterated to us his entire life. He was a big supporter of education. Not only did he encourage his own children to strive to achieve excellence, but he motivated every child who was seeking to accomplish something in life. He believed that the time spent learning is never wasted and there are no boundaries or an end to knowledge throughout one’s lifetime.

Through this organization, we aim to carry on our father’s legacy and dream of becoming a helping hand to those children who are underprivileged and alleviating illiteracy so that they can achieve the basic right of their life which is education.

FAWF also aims to work for the social and healthcare development of impoverished individuals to improve poor health conditions so that they become a better and contributing member of the society.

In terms of religious interpretation, “IQRA” was the first revelation sent down by Allah to his Prophet (PBUH). “IQRA” means “read”, and this implies that the Holy Quran was a text that the Prophet (PBUH) read to his community to impart knowledge of the do’s and don’ts of life. Simply put, education is the main part of our religion too. Therefore, FAWF intends to become a source of imparting knowledge in religious terms as well as to fulfill our father’s dream.
