Important Clarification Required – PAAPAM AGM Agenda
Respected Members,
With due respect, after reviewing the Notice of the 27th AGM, a serious point of clarification is requested from the Executive Committee.
The agenda mentions an increase in membership fee from PKR 15,000 to PKR 25,000 and registration fee from PKR 50,000 to PKR 100,000. However:
1. Why was such a major financial increase not circulated earlier for members’ consultation?
2. Why is this being introduced at this stage, without prior discussion or justification?
3. In some discussions, figures of PKR 60,000 / PKR 100,000 are being referenced — which amount is final and approved?
4. What is the financial rationale and utilization plan behind this increase?
As members, we strongly believe that fee revisions should be transparent, well-justified, and clearly communicated in advance, allowing members sufficient time to evaluate and give informed consent.
We respectfully request the PAAPAM leadership to clarify these points before the AGM, in the best interest of trust, transparency, and collective decision-making.
