“My Surgeon Is a She” was created to celebrate the women who continue to redefine the field of medicine—breaking stereotypes, inspiring future generations and proving that skill, leadership and compassion know no gender. ✨👩‍⚕️

As the concluding phase of this activity, this documentary brings together the voices of inspiring women in medicine, sharing their journeys, challenges and words of encouragement for those who aspire to follow in their footsteps.

Here’s to every woman who dared to dream and every girl who will dream a little bigger because of her.💗

📊✨ Research Reimagined; The Cross-Sectional Series; A Journey of Learning, Growth, and Collaboration!

What began as an opportunity to explore research methodology evolved into a thriving learning community of over 70 participants, united by a shared passion for research and evidence-based practice.

Over the course of 9 interactive sessions, participants remained actively engaged, with an average attendance of 40–45 participants per session, forming 9 working research groups dedicated to translating knowledge into practice. To ensure an accessible and inclusive learning experience, session recordings were provided and participant queries were addressed promptly throughout the series.

A heartfelt thank you to our mentors, facilitators, and participants for making this initiative a success. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and curiosity transformed this series into more than just a training program, it became a platform for aspiring researchers to learn, collaborate, and grow together.

Fight the bite : Malaria Outreach Recap | SIMS-LC

Action turns awareness into change, and our team stepped up.

As part of the nationwide 'Fight the Bite' campaign, our volunteers engaged with the community to share key messages on malaria prevention , early symptom recognition, and why timely care matters. Through interactive sessions and open conversations, we worked to equip people with knowledge that saves lives.

This is how we turn awareness into impact - one conversation at a time.

Honestly, seeing how quickly everyone picked up the basics and genuinely enjoyed using them was the best part of the whole session. We wrapped up the day with a quick reflection corner to process everything we learned and think about how we can actually bring this into our future medical practice. 🩹✨

Fight the Bite; Malaria Outreach Initiative 🦟🌿

With a shared vision of healthier communities and informed choices, SCOPH proudly launches Fight the Bite; Malaria Outreach Initiative; a nationwide campaign dedicated to raising awareness, promoting prevention, and breaking the chain of malaria transmission.

Set to unfold from 5th to 10th May, this initiative is powered by dedicated individuals from 9 Local Councils of our NMO, IFMSA Pakistan, coming together with one purpose, because together, we can break the chain of spread.

From hospitals and OPDs to community spaces, this collective effort aims to create meaningful, grassroots impact where it matters most.

Through awareness, engagement, and unity, we move one step closer to a healthier tomorrow because every action counts in the fight against malaria. ✨

_21st july 2026_

We spent the day at Deaf Reach, and honestly, it was incredible.

We kicked things off with an icebreaker, followed by an amazing introductory PSL session that turned out to be incredibly fun. Getting that 2-hour crash course in sign language was a massive highlight for all the participants. We also got a chance to tour the facility and spend time talking and interacting with the students.

As medical students, the whole point of this initiative is to make healthcare more inclusive, and today felt like a real, practical step toward that.

Huge shoutout to the Deaf Reach team for having us and to everyone who showed up 🤟💙
