𝗣𝗣𝗔 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗯 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺

𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝟮𝟯 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: The newly elected office bearers and Executive Body of the Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA) Punjab 2026–2028 took oath at the 10th Annual Scientific Symposium of PPA Punjab, held at King Edward Medical University, Lahore.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱 took oath as President PPA Punjab, while 𝗗𝗿. 𝗪𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗵𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝘄𝗮𝗻 took oath as General Secretary, along with the newly elected members of the Executive Body. Whereas Prof. Muhammad Arshad Is President Elect for 2028-2030

On the occasion, Dr. Ashiq Najam, representing the non-teaching category, and Prof. Tipu Sultan, representing the teaching category, were awarded the prestigious SMK Wasti Gold Medal in recognition of their distinguished contributions to pediatrics.

The medals were presented by Prof. Sajid Maqbool, Prof. Ashraf Sultan, Prof. Masood Sadiq, President PPA Pakistan, and Prof. Hina Ayesha, President PPA Punjab.

The ceremony brought together senior pediatricians and members of the pediatric community, celebrating leadership, service and excellence in child healthcare.
