On April 12th, 40 participants representing 14 NGOs gathered at the Blue Lotus Hotel for the Women’s Peace Dialog.

It was a highly collaborative session featuring insights from 5 panelists. Notably, Dr. Fauziah delivered a powerful presentation covering the historical context of Palestine and detailing the ongoing efforts of MWCQP and ApWCQP.

Our discussions translated into concrete action steps. As a group, we adopted five core resolutions to guide our next steps:

1. Form a dedicated task force to establish a Philippines Women's Coalition.
2. Establish BDS Philippines.
3. Supply the foundational materials required to support coalition building.
4. Finalize a definitive schedule for future organizing meetings.
5. Develop educational lesson plans centered on Palestinian issues.

It is inspiring to see such a strong, unified commitment to peace, education, and organized action.

Join Dr Shazra and special guest Noa, an investigative journalist, for a crucial one-hour seminar shedding light on the struggles of Palestinian prisoners. We are dedicating this time to uncover the facts, share vital footage, and amplify the voices of those who have been silenced.

What we will cover:

1. A short documentary-style video featuring collective footage of Palestinian detainees.
2. The reality of Israeli abduction techniques and the estimated number of those detained.
3. The inhumane treatment and conditions endured inside the prisons.

A deep dive into recent death penalty policies and what they reflect about the current landscape.

Dr. Fauziah Mohd Hasan, President of ApWCQP, was one of the panelist for a Forum titled Interfaith Solidarity and South-South Advocacy - Response from the Southeast Asia; at the National Solidarity Conference for Palestine, the first ever Palestine conference in Philippines - in Davao City, Philippines.

Organized collaboratively by 7 NGOs, this multifaith initiative brought diverse groups together with a unified goal: calling for lasting peace in the Middle East.
