The 2027 18th Mungyeong World Soft Tennis Championships is scheduled to be held for 11 days in September 2027 at the Mungyeong International Soft Tennis Court. It is the most prestigious international tournament in the sport of soft tennis, with approximately 400 participants, including players and officials, from 35 countries around the world.
Mungyeong Mayor Kim Hak-hong stated, “This MOU is an important starting point for the successful hosting of the 18th Mungyeong World Soft Tennis Championships in 2027,” adding, “We will do our utmost in preparations to work closely with the International Soft Tennis Federation and the Korea Soft Tennis Association to create a tournament that brings people from around the world together and to showcase Mungyeong’s charms to the world.”
