Session on Voices Unheard - Held on 8 May, 2026

At The Garage School - A Project of Safi Benevolent Trust, we believe in nurturing kindness, empathy, and respect from an early age.

Students of Grade 1 and Grade 2 recently participated in an engaging awareness session focused on respect, acceptance of differences and equality.

The session was conducted by Syeda Alisha Zakir along with fellow students Bushra Haroon, Mohammad Owais, and Shaheer Ahmed from Institute of Business Management (IOBM).

Through brief discussions, fun activities, worksheets, and interactive exercises, students actively participated and learned valuable lessons about empathy, understanding, and treating everyone with respect.

We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the team for creating such a meaningful and impactful learning experience for our young students.

On Saturday, 2 May 2026, Mr. Rehman Khosani from Moohim conducted two impactful awareness sessions at The Garage School - A Project of Safi Benevolent Trust, aimed at educating students about their rights and personal safety. We sincerely appreciate his valuable contribution.

For students of Grades 6 and 7, he delivered an engaging session on child abuse, where students were introduced to its various forms, the physical and emotional impact it can have, and essential guidance on how to stay safe and seek help when needed.

For students of Grades 8 and 9, the session focused on forced marriage. Mr. Rehman Khosani clearly explained the distinction between consensual and forced marriage, highlighted harmful practices that persist in certain areas of Pakistan, and informed students about the legal protections available to safeguard children and young individuals.

At The Garage School, we strongly believe that awareness is the first step toward protection. Empowering students with the right knowledge is essential for building a safer future, and we remain committed to prioritizing student well-being.
