Realizing the need of creating networks of women lawyers, TLS is taking new initiative by establishing “Women Protection Network (WPN)” which consists of 100 women advocates from Sukkar , Mirpur Khas , Hyderabad , Nawabshah and Karachi Women Protection Network
We can end violence against women and children
The Women Protection Network is committed to provide legal assistance, legal awareness
, paralegal training of the other women, marginalized groups and children at Union Council level. This initiative will ensure strengthen access to justice and legal empowerment of the poor women, children and marginalized groups of the society. This network will also create linkages with the Bar Council and Bar Associations and District Legal Empowerment Committees for improving the dispensation of speedy justice at grass roots level. Objectives:
• To strengthen access to justice and legally empower the poor women, children and marginalized group of the society through legal awareness, legal advice, legal aid and paralegal training;
• To make the voice of women for the demand of their legal rights at local, district, provincial, national and international levels heard through Women Protection Network;
• To provide accessible and qualitative legal aid services to the victim of gender based violence, violence against women and children;
