The Masterclass in School Change concluded on July 11, with the participants leaving with thoughtful reflections and motivation to impact change in small, meaningful ways in their schools.
The reality is often hard to face, despite workshops like these creating the space to share our frustration, that schools are stuck in an environment of grading, tests and putting undue pressure on teachers and students alike.
But that is exactly why workshops like these are needed. Once we name the problem - understand the intersectionality of issues like climate change, the literacy crisis and the AI boom - then only can we build on hope once we return to our classrooms and start our days renewed and refreshed.
We are grateful to our incredible participants who took time to engage with the workshop and showed up every day with the spirit of learning and camaraderie. Thank you for trusting us with your professional development and we hope the tools and strategies you learned here provide you with a different way of solving a problem.
