Women Empowerment Pakistan Women Empowerment of Pakistan (WEP) is a pro-woman, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization.

WEP determined for attitudinal change and increased access to the opportunities for women, girls and

children. To achieve our vision, we work to ensure WEP has practical tools for accomplishing those visionary ends. We do this work by organizing convening, engaging, mobilizing and supporting the target community, to ensure we all have the means to make our world an amazing place. THE ORGANIZATION HISTORY:

WEP is a women action based organization working in Pakistan with the aim to support community development to build a non-discriminative society with a safe place for children. WEP team members and volunteers have been working in the disaster affected areas of Pakistan. In the emergency phase we worked closely with local partner organizations to provide supplies and services. ICTRCs Program of WEP is an initiative that focuses on improving information technology and learning for disadvantaged youth and adults. WEP has a vast experience of working in education sector, has expertise in both formal and non-formal education. School health promotion, community / reproductive health and human right education are other key areas for the entire inspiration and expertise. WEP STRATEGY:

Enhance knowledge, changing attitude & promoting best practices by adopting rights based approach throughout the women life cycle. MISSION:

WEP determined for attitudinal change and increased access to the opportunities for women, girls and children. Building a sustained and developed communities led by women under the following thematic areas:

WEP seeks to achieve this end through organizing communities under common local platforms and revive traditional institutions with innovation to sustain development. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:

Initiating organizational culture at community level by taking self-help initiatives and building their capacities to function as viable social institutions. Reduce poverty conditions by improving education and health conditions through globally recognized interventions. Improve livelihood conditions through promoting natural resources and indigenous skills of women. Promoting human rights and provision of services for women and children survivors for their reintegration. Promoting peace, participation and gender based governance. Institutionalizing resource centers and networks accessible to stakeholders for best practices and decision making solutions. CULTURE & VALUE SYSTEM:

The Women Empowerment Pakistan (WEP) team conducted a monitoring and program ex*****on visit to the Vocational Training Institute (VTI), Women Buffer Zone, as part of the ongoing STEVTA Soft Skills Training Program.

The visit focused on monitoring classroom delivery, engaging with trainers and participants, assessing learning outcomes, and ensuring the program is being implemented according to the highest quality standards. Through regular field visits and continuous evaluation, WEP remains committed to delivering impactful training experiences that prepare students with the professional and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in today's workforce.

By maintaining close coordination with partner institutes and monitoring program progress on the ground, we continue to strengthen the quality, effectiveness, and long-term impact of skills development initiatives across Sindh.

Together, we are building confident, skilled, and career-ready youth.

200+ Lives Reached, One Community at a Time ❤️‍🩹

Women Empowerment Pakistan, in collaboration with Muskan Zindagi, successfully organized a Free Medical & Dental Camp in New Karachi, providing essential healthcare services to more than 200 community members.

From dental checkups and general health screenings to medical consultations and health guidance, the camp served as a bridge between healthcare professionals and underserved communities.

During the initiative, our medical teams identified a significant number of dental and skin-related health concerns, highlighting the need for continued healthcare awareness and accessible medical support at the grassroots level.

Healthcare is not a privilege it is a basic right. Together, we remain committed to creating healthier communities and improving access to quality healthcare for all.

Women Empowerment Pakistan, in collaboration with Pink Care and Muskan Zindagi organized an awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) at The Royal Scholar High School, engaging both young girls and their mothers.

The session focused on menstrual health, hygiene practices, safe use of sanitary products, breaking myths around menstruation, and understanding how climate change impacts menstrual hygiene through water shortages, extreme heat, sanitation challenges, and increased risk of infections.

Javeria led the MHM session, while Kainat conducted an informative session on oral hygiene. Sanitary kits were also distributed among the students to support safe and healthy hygiene practices.

A meaningful highlight of the session was the strong response from mothers, who appreciated the initiative and demanded that more awareness sessions like this should be organized regularly for girls, mothers, and communities.

On behalf of Women Empowerment Pakistan, Gender Specialist Jenny Ali thanked Principal Ms. Farhana Azhar and the school administration for their support, and reaffirmed WEP’s commitment to taking menstrual health awareness to every mother and daughter across Sindh.

Ms. Jenny Ali and the team from Women Empowerment Pakistan (WEP) held a productive and promising meeting with Director Primary Education, Mr. Bashir Ahmed Abbasi, and Deputy Director, Ms. Musarrat Noreen.
The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration to advance Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in government schools across Sindh through a targeted, community-driven awareness campaign based on Behavior Change Communication (BCC) approaches.
The key objectives of this initiative include breaking deep-rooted taboos around menstruation, equipping adolescent girls with accurate knowledge and confidence, promoting safe and dignified menstrual hygiene practices, reducing menstrual-related school absenteeism, and encouraging sustainable behavior change within schools and communities.
Access to proper menstrual health education and support enables girls to overcome barriers related to education, attendance, confidence, and personal growth. This collaboration marks a meaningful step toward creating safe, supportive, and stigma-free learning environments where every girl can learn, grow, and thrive with dignity.
