It is an honor to be a Rotaractor, now with the prestige of being the President of one of the Rotaract’s Club which started its Yearly Calender from July 01, 2018, bearing the responsibility of providing great services to the society through effective fellowship and leadership for the expansion of peace and development.
Before defining the objectives of our club, I would like to introduce you The Prestigious Rotaract, its history, objectives and achievements.
Rotaract originally began as a Rotary International Youth Program in 1968. It is a service, leadership and community service organization for young men and women between the ages 18–30.
Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces, provide them an opportunity to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
Most Rotaract activities take place at the club level. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. Rotaract clubs hold formal meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, special outings, social activities, discussions or visits to other clubs. Club members get together on designated days for service project work, social events, or professional/leadership development workshops.
After a brief introduction about the honorable organization to which we belong, now I would like to introduce you about the Rotaract Club of Karachi Dominators. Our Club’s Dominant Rotaractors are determined to dominate the society in terms of peace, development, enforcement of law and justice and introducing equality and confraternity at all levels.
Club Objectives:
- To engage people from different backgrounds through fellowship.
- To motivate and empower people to render their services individually and collectively for the their community and society interest.
- To work on character building of an individual by educating and making him or her aware about their basic rights, development of minds in a basic civic sense with sense of responsibility and ownership, teaching the professional norms which would then result in positive contribution in developing a better society.
- To promote environment and atmosphere friendly activities for safer future of upcoming generations.
- To spread general health awareness, educate people in that regard and provide volunteering health services to people with the aim of eradication and control over the outbreak of major and epidermic diseases respectively.
- To conduct different career guidance sessions with an aim to educate people about better job opportunities.
- To provide people basic skills through their technical and vocational training, making them capable to find work according to their of expertise.
