Dr. Sher Shah Syed - Founder & Program Director
Dr. Sher Shah Syed, a distinguished specialist in fistula treatment and founder of the Institute of Ilmo Aagahi, leads our mission with unparalleled dedication. At Kohi Goth Hospital, Dr. Syed nurtures young minds through a comprehensive program blending education, cultural heritage, and creative expression. His commitment extends to hosting ‘ILMO AGAHIE ka Safar’ on FM Radio 105, where he explores global matters and history, enriching our community’s understanding and engagement.

Dr. Sidra Ahmed - Program Manager
Dr. Sidra Ahmed, once a student of Dr. Syed, now expertly manages our programs both at the Institute and on ‘ILMO AGAHIE ka Safar’ radio show. Her journey from student to program manager exemplifies her deep connection to our mission. She oversees the implementation of our educational camps, workshops, and radio initiatives, ensuring that our programs run smoothly and achieve their educational goals.

Zoha Shamsi - Program Coordinator
Zoha Shamsi, our dynamic 17-year-old A-Level student, has recently joined the Institute of Ilmo Aagahi as a program coordinator and radio show participant. Her fresh perspective and enthusiasm contribute to our weekly program appearances, where she engages with topics across science, literature, and the arts, bringing new energy and insight to our initiatives.

At the Institute of Ilm-o-Aagahi, we are dedicated to nurturing the curiosity and potential of young adults who are passionate about exploring science, history, and the arts. Our workshops are thoughtfully designed to take students on a journey through the lives and achievements of pre-modern and modern scientists, philosophers, and thinkers who have left an indelible mark on the world.

We bridge the gap between past and present by immersing our students in the rich traditions of Urdu and Sindhi literature, offering a deep dive into the works of poets and scholars who have shaped our cultural identity. Alongside this, we encourage creativity and self-expression through courses in short story writing, music, theatre, and acting, helping students to uncover and refine their artistic talents.

Our mission is deeply personal: we want every student to receive an education that not only enlightens but also inspires. By weaving together the wisdom of the past with the creativity of today, we aim to help our students think critically, express themselves fully, and find their unique voice in the world.
