This course offers a profound exploration of the intellectual landscape of Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib. Traditionally, the Ghazal format can feel fragmented because each couplet stands as an independent, self-contained universe; however, this course employs a thematic approach to bridge those gaps. By synthesizing verses from across his Diwan under singular themes, students will gain a deeper appreciation of Ghalib not just as a poet, but as a coherent thinker with a rigorous philosophy. This method reveals the "inner architecture" of his thought process, proving that behind the isolated flashes of brilliance lies a unified vision.
