nt emergency situations in Pakistan. At the same time this situation is becoming more challenging for the humanitarian organizations in the country like the Pakistan Red Crescent Society to prepare itself and respond to these emergencies in a professional manner. The Pakistan Red Crescent Society traditionally has ample experience in responding to natural disasters in a rural setting, new challenges as stated above requires extra efforts and expertise to deal with man-made emergencies in an urban setting.
