HPV Vaccine Awareness — Animated Video now in Sindhi!
AMAN is pleased to share the Sindhi version of its animated video on HPV Vaccine. This will facilitate to reach a wider audience across Sindh.
By sharing important information in Sindhi, we aim to create better awareness and understanding about HPV Vaccine and hence ensuring its positive impact for parents, caregivers, and communities to get their daughters vaccinated to prevent Cervical cancer.
The video addresses common questions and misconceptions surrounding the HPV vaccine and highlights the importance of vaccination in protecting girls against cervical cancer.

Every Girl Deserves Protection Against Cervical Cancer!

On 31 August 2026, AMAN conducted a follow-up HPV vaccination awareness session in Village Qaim Khan Magsi, UC Karira, District Kamber, with the support of LHW Ms. Shahzadi Magsi.

Through continued engagement, awareness, and counselling with mothers, 40 girls were successfully vaccinated during the visit.

Special appreciation to Ms. Zahida Perveen, Field Coordinator AMAN Kamber, for her dedicated efforts, consistent follow-up, and commitment to reaching communities and protecting girls against cervical cancer.

Together, we can build trust, break myths, and protect our girls from cervical cancer.

A productive and insightful meeting was held today with the Team MD, including Ms. Huma and Dr. Tabinda, together with the leadership of AMAN—Prof. Sadiah A. Pal, Dr. Azra Ahsan, and Dr. Humera Mansoor.

Discussion focussed around the Gavi-supported HPV Vaccine Demand Generation Initiative being implemented by AMAN.

The initiative is being implemented across 8 districts of Sindh to strengthen awareness, address myths and misconceptions, and promote acceptance and uptake of the HPV vaccine for the prevention of cervical cancer.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to reflect, discuss progress and achievements, identify challenges related to vaccination targets and demand generation, and collectively explore the way forward.

Through continued collaboration, strategic planning, and stronger coordination with stakeholders, we remain committed to reaching more communities and protecting young girls against cervical cancer.

Every Mother and Newborn deserve Safe, Respectful, and Quality care—because every Pregnancy Matters.

In this special message, Dr. Azra Ahsan, Secretary General, AMAN, highlights the importance of strengthening the capacity of healthcare providers to ensure safe pregnancies, safe deliveries, and healthy outcomes for Mothers and Newborns.

Taking the ‘Every Pregnancy’ message forward, AMAN conducted a capacity-building training at Muneeza General Hospital Karachi, bringing together healthcare providers of different cadres from Ehsan General Hospital and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The training focused on equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to improve maternal and newborn care and establish a referral pathway between the two health care units.
