Imagine spending your entire life on the streets—fighting hunger every single day, being chased away by people, searching for a safe place to sleep, and never even having clean water to drink.

Now imagine being in unbearable pain, with no way to ask for help
 and then maggots eating away at your wound, slowly consuming you from the inside.

This is something we can barely imagine, yet countless animals endure this kind of suffering every single day.

This little soul was one of them. We don’t know how long he had been suffering before his eye reached this heartbreaking condition. He was found lying alone in a corner, barely holding on. Sometimes, when animals are too weak to fight anymore, they simply retreat to a corner and wait for the end.

But someone saw him. Someone cared enough to report him and give him a chance.

He is with us now, and we will do everything we possibly can to save him. His entire eye has been destroyed, and maggots have eaten deep into the wound. Our biggest fear is that the infection may have reached his brain. If it has, his chances of survival are painfully low.

But life and death are in Allah’s hands. All we can do is fight for him.

Allah sent us into this world to become the voice and helping hand these voiceless souls desperately need. Please, don’t let this little one suffer alone.

Imagine being so tiny, blind, and completely helpless
 and having no one.

This little soul was found all alone under a tree, with no mother beside him, no family to protect him, and no way to even see the world around him.

He should have been sleeping safely beside his mother. He should have been loved, protected, and cared for. Instead, he was left alone to survive in a world he cannot even see.

This innocent donkey’s story is heartbreakingly similar to that of so many working donkeys. But what makes his suffering even more heartbreaking is that he was left on the streets for five long days, helpless and in excruciating pain

His owner refused to give him up, leaving him without the medical care he desperately needed. After a great deal of effort, some kind people were finally able to bring him to our shelter

He is safe with us now, but his condition is devastating. His leg is completely broken, his body is covered in multiple painful wounds, and ulcers in his mouth make it incredibly difficult for him to eat. Every day is a battle for this poor soul

His treatment and recovery will be a long and difficult journey, and we cannot do it alone

We urgently need 50 kind-hearted people to donate just Rs. 1,000 each to help cover his medical treatment, care, and rehabilitation

Here’s a little update on our beloved Chandni. đŸȘ

We’re so happy to share that her leg has healed beautifully. Her prosthesis is currently in process, and InshaAllah it will be ready soon. Once she receives it, she’ll be able to start walking on all four legs again, just like our Cammie

For now, Chandni is eating well, staying healthy, and enjoying lots of love and care at the shelter

We celebrate freedom with lights, music, horns and fireworks. But for the animals sharing our streets, that celebration can sound like danger.

They don’t understand what 14th August means. They only know that suddenly the sky is exploding, the streets are louder, and there is nowhere to escape.

Dogs hide under cars. Cats squeeze into corners. Birds panic and lose their way. Donkeys stand trapped in traffic with nowhere to run from the noise.

Celebrate Pakistan. Celebrate loudly with your heart, not with things that cause fear and distress to those who have no choice but to endure it. đŸ‡”đŸ‡°đŸ’š

This 14th August, please skip the firecrackers and unnecessary horns.

Freedom should feel safe for them too.



He doesn’t know we’re celebrating.
He only knows he’s scared.

They doesn’t know what the noise means.
They only know they need to hide.

He can’t hide.
He can’t run.
He just has to endure it.

Every animal deserves to grow up knowing what love feels like.

They are safe with us today, but we hope that in another universe, they never have to be rescued at all—they are born into loving homes.

A place where they are wanted from the very beginning. Where they never experience hunger, neglect, abandonment, or the loneliness of waiting for someone to care. A place where they have soft beds, full bowls, and families who love them unconditionally.

We are grateful that these precious souls found their way to safety, but our hearts will always wish for a world where shelters are no longer needed, because every animal already has a home and a family to call their own 💔đŸ„ș

WE COULDN’T WAIT. đŸȘ💙

Today we heard about a baby camel in Tharparkar who had been in an accident and had badly broken his front leg.

His owner had decided to sell him to a kasai.

There wasn’t time to put up a fundraiser. There wasn’t time to make a post and wait to see if we could raise enough.

We just knew we couldn’t let him go.

We told his owner that whatever the kasai was offering, we would pay it instead. He agreed.

So we committed the money, arranged his transport, and right now this little boy is making the long journey from Tharparkar to the CDRS Benji shelter. We’re hoping he’ll reach us around 4am.

Now we need your help to cover what it took to save him.

Between the amount paid to secure his release and the cost of transporting him safely to us, we need to raise:

Rs. 95,000 (approximately US$340)

His medical care will come next. First, we just had to get him out of there and get him home.

Sometimes rescue gives you time to plan.

Sometimes you hear that a baby with a broken leg is about to be sold for slaughter, and you have to say yes before you know where the money is going to come from.

Today was one of those days.
