Green Crescent Trust Transforming Lives Through Education - Since 1994 It started out with just one school and a few students in Karachi.

Green Crescent Trust (GCT) is a non-profit organization in Sindh, Pakistan, that focuses on development through education. It was established in 1995 by a group of critically conscious and passionate citizens with one goal: making a better Pakistan by providing access to quality education. GCT is operated by professionals under the supervision of the Board of Trustees, which now runs a network of

more than 150 schools in underserved areas of Sindh. GCT aims to shift mindsets in the communities regarding education by providing opportunities to bring enhancements to their daily lives. It has also expanded its services through other programs like the Orphan Support Program (OSP), Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD), and The Water Project.

What began with a single school in Karachi over 31 years ago has grown into 176 schools across Sindh, educating 38,000+ students in communities where quality education was once out of reach.

Our journey doesn't end here. Our goal is to educate 100,000 children, ensuring that every child - no matter where they live - has access to the opportunity they deserve.

Green Crescent Trust is overwhelmed with joy to announce the inauguration of GCT Hilal School – Shaikh Muhammad Anwer Maggoon Campus, located in Mirpur Sakro.

This project holds a special place in our hearts, as it was initiated by Dr. Shaikh Kaiser Waheed in the loving memory of his father. His support and commitment throughout this journey have been truly inspiring and are deeply appreciated here at GCT. 💚

We were honored to be joined at the inauguration by Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Sheerazi, Provincial Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr, Government of Sindh, along with Mr. Raheel Kaiser, Siddiq Ali Memon – MNA, Mr. Saleem Qamar – Friend of Educational Initiatives, GCT's CEO Zahid Saeed, GCT Trustee Saad Zia Sheikh, and the entire GCT Delegation.

A New Chapter Begins! 🎓✨

Green Crescent Trust is proud to have inaugurated and celebrated the revival and renovation of the Muhammad Shafi Educational Complex (MSEC) - a vocational and technical education hub located in the heart of Shershah, with the capacity to accommodate 2,400 students.

The occasion brought together esteemed guests who toured the premises and witnessed a special convocation ceremony for our Summer Camp participants.
