کراچی کی منتخب یونین کونسلز میں پولیو بوسٹر ڈوز مہم دوسرے روز میں داخل ہوگئی ہے جہاں بچے خوشی اور مسکراہٹ کے ساتھ پولیو بوسٹر ڈوز لگوا رہے ہیں جبکہ پولیو ٹیمیں بچوں کو تحفظ فراہم کر رہی ہیں۔
یہ مہم 10 سال تک کے بچوں کو پولیو کے خلاف اضافی قوتِ مدافعت فراہم کرنے کے لیے جاری ہے۔ والدین سے اپیل ہے کہ وہ پولیو ٹیموں سے تعاون کریں اور ہر اہل بچے کو بوسٹر ڈوز ضرور دلوائیں۔

Renowned pediatrician Professor Dr Mohsina Noor has endorsed the Polio Booster Dose Campaign being conducted from May 12 to May 24 in 89 high-risk Union Councils of Karachi.

She urged parents to ensure vaccination of all children up to 10 years, emphasizing that repeated vaccination is safe and essential to protect children from poliovirus and lifelong disability.

لٹل فلاورز اسکول میں پولیو بوسٹر ڈوز لگوانے کے بعد بچوں کے معصوم انداز نے سب کے دل جیت لیے۔ ننھے بچے مسکراتے ہوئے اپنی انگلیوں پر لگی سیاہی فخر سے دکھا رہے ہیں۔

کراچی پولیو بوسٹر ڈوز مہم کے پہلے روز پولیو ٹیمیں اسکولوں اور مدارس میں بچوں کو بوسٹر ڈوز دینے میں مصروف رہیں۔ والدین اور اسکول انتظامیہ نے پولیو ٹیموں کے ساتھ بھرپور تعاون کا مظاہرہ کیا۔

مہم کے پہلے دن کراچی کی 89 یونین کونسلز میں ہزاروں بچوں کو پولیو سے اضافی تحفظ فراہم کرنے کے لیے بوسٹر ڈوز دی گئی۔

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has urged parents not to be misled by rumours circulating on social media or informal channels. He emphasized the importance of relying only on verified medical and scientific guidance.

“Misinformation directly undermines child health and puts years of progress at risk,” he warned during the inauguration of the polio booster dose campaign in Karachi.
