I'm Proud To Be A Pakistani

Pakistan is the second most populous country in the Muslim world. I am totally in romance with this beautiful country, which is called Pakistan. Whenever Pakistan passes through rough and tough phases, the people get united and become iron-clad wall to defend their beloved homeland. There is no shortage of will to ser
ve and make a prosperous Pakistan, but lack of guidance from a strong leadership is essentially needed to ride on the road to success. In 2005, when Pakistan faced a massive earthquake that almost demolished northern areas including Azad Kashmir, the Pakistani nation embraced this challenge and people became an example of unity, faith and discipline. Nation forgot all religious, ethnic, territorial and lingual differences and Pakistani nationalism emerged to counter problems. Cricket has always been a passion of Pakistanis. Look around when Pakistan Cricket Team is playing a match against India, in particular and against any other country, in general, all the differences again get wiped out and pure love pours in the veins of every Pakistani in terms of gesture, behavior and conversation with their fellow Pakistani brother. We should not forget 1965 war, when Pakistan faced the aggression and Pakistan army protected the homeland from the advances of India. We should build Pakistan according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, who had great expectations with this beautiful country. We should also make Quaid-e-Azam our role model, who single-handedly won the case of Pakistan in his battle with British Empire and Indian National congress. Allama Iqbal was the one, who dreamt about the creation of Pakistan. He was a great poet and intellectual. He wanted to see for Muslims a separate piece of land, where they could live peacefully without the intervention of outside forces. Pakistan is also a nuclear state. The whole credit of becoming nuclear goes to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, who made Pakistan proud of its achievements. Late Arfa Kareem is also another pride of Pakistan, who became youngest person in the world to become Microsoft Certified Professional at the mere age of 9. Pakistan is the nation who has always supported humanitarian causes at the national and international level without the discrimination religion, caste, creed and nationality. Being Pakistanis, we love everyone. Pakistani youth is deeply in love with their mother land. They are always ready to sacrifice their lives to defend their country. They have enormous potential in every field, whether it is sports, science, medicine, business, education or it is overseas man power, software developing and business process out-sourcing. Youth only needs competent leadership, which can guide their capabilities and talent to the required fields. We should never forget our identity no matter wherever we are and whatever we are doing. Pakistan is the country, which is filled with energetic, talented and hard-working people. It is up to us to use that energy and talent to make Pakistan a proud country. About the Author:
