Main concern of the executive body of WCS was injustice, class divisions, poverty and violence that has crippled our society and turned us deaf and dumb. WCS Vision:
Our vision is to make a significant contribution to the community by reducing the number of homeless children in Pakistan. WCS Philosophy:
Our goal is to dramatically change the lives of the homeless by providing housing and services
, enabling our children to avoid homelessness, poverty and abuse in the future. The segment most affected was the homeless children and hence we primarily chose to work for the development and protection of street children and named our first project ‘Masoom’.
---Masoom ----
In this project we aim to reach out to those children who; due to life’s circumstances are in need of personal living space, goods, and self esteem building. WCS provides family-based, long-term uptown care for children less than 16 years of age who have been permanently separated from their families due to death, abandonment or serious abuse. Our goal is to meet the spiritual, physical and educational needs of the children. Providing a proper substitute for the parents, family and the home they have lost and ensuring education, nutrition, hygiene and health care for children and elders, thereby giving them every possible benefit to breed in a stable environment. WCS lets individuals support a child in as little as $20 per month and create fair opportunities for them.
