Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice Chairman, and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council, strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on a passenger/train service in Quetta.

Such bomb blast occurred near the railway track at Chaman Phatak area, resulting in the martyrdom of several innocent civilians and injuries to many others.

The Sindh Bar Council termed the incident as a cowardly and inhuman act of terrorism aimed at creating fear and instability in the country. It expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of lives, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families along with prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The Sindh Bar Council demands that the Federal Government, Government of Balochistan and law enforcement agencies immediately arrest the perpetrators, facilitators and masterminds involved in the attack and ensure strict security measures at railway stations and other public places to prevent such incidents in future. Pakistan is a resilient state and Pakistanis are a brave nation and it will never succumb to such cowardly acts. Pakistan Zindabad 🇵🇰

Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice-Chairman, Sindh Bar Council, and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council, strongly condemn brutal attack of culprits upon the father and cousin of learned Advocate Mr. Muhammad Abdullah (Bhugti) at Larkana city.

Hence, the Sindh Bar Council demands from the I.G Sindh, DIG and SSP Larkana to take immediate notice, apprehend the culprits / accused persons and bring them to Court forthwith.

It is further demanded to provide protection to the learned advocate and his family members.

Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice Chairman and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council strongly condemn the illegal and unlawful acts of police officials of District Naushahro Feroze, who allegedly subjected the learned Advocate Mr. Mehboob A. Zardari, Advocate High Court and his family members, to harassment, illegal arrest, intimidation, and extending threats of false and fabricated criminal cases.

The Sindh Bar Council is of the considered view that such conduct of police officials cannot be tolerated against members of the legal fraternity and amounts to misuse of official powers.

The Sindh Bar Council demanded from the Inspector General of Police Sindh and other concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the matter, conduct an impartial inquiry, and initiate strict departmental and legal action against the responsible officials in accordance with law.

They further demanded that adequate protection be provided to the learned Advocate and his family members.

Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice Chairman, Sindh Bar Council, and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council, strongly condemn the incident of armed robbery that occurred on 16-05-2026 at about 08:00 a.m. near Loolja Stop, Khairpur Nathan Shah, on Indus Highway, wherein Mr. Zahid Hussain Gorar, father of Mr. Zeeshan Gorar Advocate, was allegedly intercepted by armed robbers and deprived of his motorcycle, mobile phone, cash, and other belongings at gunpoint after being subjected to violence and physical assault.

The Sindh Bar Council expresses serious concern over the reported injuries sustained by the father of learned Advocate during the incident and further condemned the alleged negligence and inaction of the concerned SHO despite being informed about the occurrence and the alleged whereabouts of the accused persons.

The Sindh Bar Council demanded from the Inspector General of Police Sindh and other concerned authorities to ensure immediate recovery of the stolen property, registration of FIR under relevant provisions of law, and strict legal action against the culprits.

Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice Chairman, Sindh Bar Council, and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council, strongly condemn the alleged abduction of Excise and Taxation Officer Mr. Saeed Ahmed Memon (Uncle of former Joint Secretary Mr Aizam Khan Memon Advocate DBA N. Feroze) along with his friends and children.
The Sindh Bar Council terms the incident as highly alarming, unlawful, and against the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Sindh Bar Council further expresses grave concern over the safety and well-being of the abducted persons and demanded that the competent authorities and law enforcement agencies immediately take concrete steps for their safe and early recovery. It was emphasized that full protection must be provided to the abducted individuals and their family members, and no harm whatsoever should come to them.

The Sindh Bar Council also calls upon the concerned authorities to conduct a transparent inquiry into the matter, identify the persons involved, and bring the culprits to justice strictly in accordance with law.

Barrister Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Vice Chairman, Sindh Bar Council, and Mr. Ayaz Hussain Tunio, Chairman Executive Committee, Sindh Bar Council, strongly condemn the heinous incident of alleged criminal assault and sexual abuse against a minor girl student daughter of learned Advocate Mr. Ghulam Hussain Khoso, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Johi.

The minor girl managed to escape and immediately informed her father Advocate, subsequently, FIR bearing No. 53/2026, was lodged at Police Station Johi.

The Sindh Bar Council terms this act as a grave violation of law and a direct assault on the safety and dignity of female student and family of the learned member.
The Sindh Bar Council demands immediate arrest of accused, fair and expeditious investigation of said FIR and strict legal action without delay.

The Sindh Bar Council Demands high powered fair enquiry and following of Due process in the matter of Mr. Zahid Mugheri (ex Civil Judge).

It has been reported that Mr. Zahid Mugheri has been arrested due to personal issues with a police officer. And in this connection Tando Muhammad Khan police has acted malafide.

The Sindh Bar Council demands for a formation of a high powered judicial commission in order to perform a fair and transparent enquiry in the matter. Evidentiary statements be also collected from the said Police officer and the Tando Muhammad Khan Police.
