On 12 October 2025 Sunday, 1500 trees were planted at Bin Qasim Park Karachi.

The Fatima Jamal Memorial Welfare organization joined forces with Legal Awareness Trust as a collaborative partner in the drive.

The tree-planting initiative in the midst of Karachi was a laudable endeavor to elevate awareness about climate change and global warming.

Karachi's intense weather underscores the need for concerted efforts like these to combat the repercussions of climate change.

Join us for a Plantation Drive tomorrow at IBN e Qasim Park at 11:00 AM

حضرت ابو دردا رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس علم حاصل کرنے کی غرض
سے کچھ طلبہ آئے ، تو انھوں نے دیکھا کہ حضرت ابو الدردا رضی اللہ عنہ درخت لگا رہے ہیں، تو ان طلبہ نے تعجب سے عرض کیا کہ آپ حضور ﷺ کے صحابی ہوکر یہ دنیوی کام کررہے ہیں؟؟

جس پر حضرت ابو الدردا رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے حضور اقدس ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ

’’جس شخص نے کوئی درخت اگایا، تو اس میں سے کوئی انسان، پرندہ یا کوئی اور جانور جو کچھ بھی کھاتا ہے تو اللہ اس کو اس
کا اجر دیتا ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ خشک نہ ہوجائے۔

موسمیاتی تبدیلی بمقابلہ شہر قائد

شہر قائد موسمیاتی تبدیلی کی لپیٹ میں ہے لیکن ہنگامی انتظامات کرنے کے بجائے اس شہر میں دور دور تک کسی انتظامی بہتری کی امید نظر نہیں آتی
اسی موضوع کو زیر بحث لانے کیلئے ایک سیمنار "موسمیاتی تبدیلی بمقابلہ شہر قائد " کے نام سے پاکستان میڈیکل ایسوسی ایشن کے تعاون سے آرگنائز کیا گیا

سیمنار میں ماہر اربن ڈیولپمنٹ محمد توحید ،کلائمٹ ایکشن سینٹر کے ڈائریکٹر یاسر حسین ،پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ٹیپو سلطان ،فروزاں چیف ایڈیٹر محمود عالم اور دیگر شرکاء نے مسائل اور ان کے حل پر بات کی اور شرکاء کے سوالات کے جوابات دئیے
جب کہ شہر قائد کو موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں سے لڑنے کیلئے تیار کرنے پر آگاہی مہم ہر سطح پر شروع کرنے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا گیا ۔

سیمنار میں ہما جمال پریزیڈنٹ فاطمہ جمال میموریل ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن نے بھی منتظمین کی دعوت پر شرکت کی اور مستقبل میں ساتھ مل کر کام کرنےاور ہر ممکن تعاون کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔
