This 2026 we’re reflecting on the theme “More good days together.”
In GoRead.pk’s story, The Memory Box, written by Nusser Sayeed & illustrated by Saleha Ghani of Wild Robot Creative young Sher navigates his changing relationship with his grandfather as dementia reshapes their world. While some memories slip away, their bond doesn’t.
Instead of holding on to what once was, Sher and his family learn to embrace what is; finding joy in small moments, shared laughter, and simply being present with one another.
Their story is a gentle reminder: even through life’s changes, we can still create more good days together.

About the Role
Help deepen GoRead.pk’s impact by building strong, lasting relationships within communities and expanding access to reading spaces.

What You’ll Do
Lead community engagement and partnerships with local stakeholders
Drive on-ground implementation of programs like Chunri Readers Book Club, Boys Baithak Book Club, and Kahani Sawari
Train and mentor community-based reading facilitators
Support expansion into new communities and strengthen existing ones

Who We’re Looking For
4–8 years of experience in community engagement or NGO work
Passion for education, reading, and grassroots impact
Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills
