🇵🇰 79th Independence Day Celebration at PDSA 💚🤍

Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with love, joy, and the beautiful spirit of togetherness. 🇵🇰

The celebration featured a special cake-cutting ceremony, with Mr. Abid Lashari, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, CEO PDSA, cutting the Independence Day cake alongside our students, therapists, parents, and team members. 🎂💚

The day was filled with smiles, happiness, and memorable moments as everyone came together to celebrate the spirit of Pakistan. Students, parents, therapists, and staff also captured beautiful pictures together, making the celebration even more special. 📸❤

The Daily Hifazat Karachi (August 14, 2026) covered the 79th Independence Day celebration organized by the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) in Gulistan-e-Johar.

Inclusive Festivities: Children with Down syndrome, their families, and rehabilitation specialists gathered for a joyous event featuring national songs, performances, and patriotic activities.

Call for Equal Rights: PDSA Chief Executive Abid Lashari (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) highlighted that ensuring equal opportunities in education, healthcare, and rehabilitation for children with Down syndrome is a collective social duty.

Government Support: Lashari commended the DEPD, Government of Sindh for its ongoing support in offering free, high-quality rehabilitation and support services to children with intellectual disabilities.
