ople tried to persuade me that supporting the specific segment is not the priority of international donors, so getting funds to initiate our program seems difficult, even in some contents seems impossible. I was really surprised to know that such segment does not match with the donors’ criteria; also advised me to explore other areas not specifically orphans. But, some of them appreciated and encouraged to start the program. Finally, I decided to accept all challenges either right or wrong whatever people feel. With the grace of God, now we have established the organization ‘’Orphan Support Foundation’’. We believe when you are forthright and sincere to achieve your cause then nothing is impossible. The organization is non-profit and charitable, purely established for orphaned and abandoned street children. The children who are deprived of the guidance and protection of their primary caregivers are more vulnerable to health risks, violence, exploitation and discrimination and they are often deprived of education. The OSF’s prime objective is to strive to guard the fundamental needs of this disadvantaged population by engaging them in advocacy, education, and technical skills development program and problem analysis. Last but not least, our dream is to establish the Orphan Provincial Public Schools minimum one in the head quarter/capital of the all provinces; where the children would be provided all basic necessities including education, accommodation, food and capacity building program (technical skills & personality development) under single roof without any discrimination… We believe it is useless to operate several low quality orphanages which are impossible to monitor and produce a better result.
