PURPOSE AND ROLE
Rahnuma performs and facilitates five basic tasks under its banner:
AWARENESS
Organization’s primary and basic goal is to create awareness among the Indus Valley School community primarily and then reach out to more people as a secondary objective. To create awareness the organization will with help of the Admin and sitting Student Council organize and
supervise various events t
hroughout the academic session and also during vacations. Also, the
organization would work on figuring out other means to create and spread the awareness. BE THE CHANGE
The members of this organization are self motivated thus their primary responsibility would be
adapting to the change that the organization philosophy has been put down. This means they
are now representing not only themselves but also the ideals of the organization and
themselves. They will be official ambassadors of Rahnuma. CONSOLIDATION OF INSTITUTIONS
The organization will focus on its workings and measures so as to consolidate and strengthen
the organization rather than the individuals working for it. It will also support all institutions
that may be working and established if and when the sitting core group approves it. REACH OUT TO PEOPLE
Rahnuma will facilitate and encourage all efforts and desires for its members to reach out to
people around them and have a positive impact. This may include trips within the city, province
and the country. Rahnuma will also press for community service to be made mandatory for IVS
students and encourage and support all existing efforts towards such a practice. DEMAND AND REDEEM OUR RIGHTS
The organization will also act as a pressure group and see that the rights of students and people
are not hacked upon and if such an incident is notified or taken notice of, Rahnuma will follow
