We were honored to have Advocate Mr. Kashif Ahmed Sheikh,HS Law Associates as our Guest of Honor for the Independence Day celebration.

The occasion was made even more special with a signing ceremony, marking his joining as a Board Member and Patron of Learning Hands Rehabilitation Welfare Association. Have a look at this powerful story of courage, resilience, and the realities of raising an autistic child. 💙

Raising Elia in a Neurotypical World, published by Dawn Prism, beautifully portrays the journey of a single mother who continues to overcome emotional, financial, and everyday challenges to ensure her daughter receives the care, support, and opportunities she deserves.

At Learning Hands Rehabilitation Centre (LHRC), we meet families like hers every day. We understand the sacrifices parents make, the difficult decisions they face, and the financial burden of providing consistent therapies and interventions for their children. Their strength and determination deserve to be seen, acknowledged, and supported.

We are grateful to have made a small contribution to this important article by sharing information about the costs of therapies and the support needs of autistic children in Pakistan. We hope these insights help bring greater awareness to the realities many families experience every day.

Last week, Miss Faryal was invited by IJK Schooling System to conduct an interactive training session for teachers on Positive Classroom Behavior Management.

The session focused on understanding student behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and equipping teachers with practical classroom management strategies. Through engaging discussions ,the participants shared experiences, explored real-life scenarios, and learned effective approaches to fostering positive behavior in the classroom.

A heartfelt thank you to IJK Schooling System for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of their dedicated educators.

A child who says "no," cries over small things, seems "difficult," or doesn't listen isn't always being defiant. They may be overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, or struggling to communicate.

When we choose curiosity over judgment and connection over correction, we create a space where children feel safe, understood, and supported.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs
• Assessment and evaluation skills
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies
• Good classroom management skills

🗣️ Part-time Speech Therapist (OPD Program)

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Speech Therapy (Diploma/DRCD holders may also apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
