Feathers Foundation is a non-profit organization working for education, health, malnutrition, water purification, women empowerment, child abuse and transgender issues Anila Naaz, she belongs to a poor family her father was a school teacher she was hardly able to get her professional degree because of fragile financial situation of her family. She faced lots of problems during her education, which
derived her to prepare a smooth pathway for the children who finds financial problems for their education. At the moment a group of professional is managing Feathers Foundation who are dedicated to bring positive change in the life of human being by providing free of cost quality education, free health facilities specially for women during pregnancy and new born child. Feathers foundation also fighting against malnutrition in the areas where this problem is prevailing specially in district Tharparkar and trying to find out the solution for water purification on large scale in Tharparkar. Feathers Foundation started working from Interior Sindh, Mirpurkhas. Collected donations were used to support families who were living under the line of poverty. Feathers Foundation collected donation were used to support poor girls in their marriage arrangements, especially in KPK, interior Sindh and interior Punjab. Feathers Foundation arranged free medical camp in rural areas of Pakistan. Feathers Foundation has arranged free workshops to create awareness about major issues of our society as early childhood marriages, hepatitis prevention, HIV awareness, child abuse and teen age misbehavior with parents, Socio-Economic Development, training on human rights, training on gender issues, training on management and leadership and Motivation works on Community Development and Health and Sanitation. Feathers Foundation organized educational workshops on communication skills, English language skills, monitoring and evaluation strategies to help other organization’s employees who are unable to afford expensive training sessions. Feathers foundation is an organization where we try to do our best to serve poor people with the help of philanthropist. We are committed to provide hospitals with quality health services and latest health equipment in rural areas of Pakistan. We are working to import medical supplies to those in need of basic medical care and build water stations powered by solar energy to bring a reliable source of clean drinking water to areas where it is lacking because without clean water there is no healthy life. Everybody have right to get the education. Education is the road that children follow to reach their full potential in life. Currently 25.02 million boys and girls between the age of 5 and 16 who are not in schools (Out Of School Childers OOSC). Feathers Foundation’s major targeted areas are those where OOSC % is higher. Gilgit Bultistan 48% children, KPK 34%, FATA 62%, AJK 43%, Punjab 47%, Sindh 51%, Balochistan 66% and ICT 16%.
