The Rotaract Club of Karachi Metropolitan is a community based club chartered back in 2001 and consists of more than 48 dedicated and dynamic members locally and 8 members internationally. Today, there are about 200,000 Rotaract members throughout the world. Rotaract members (Rotaractors) practice high ethical standards in all the humanitarian services they practice and are ambassadors of spreadin
g peace in the world. Rotary’s motto of “Service above self” urge Rotaractors to serve the community above self and make friends through fellowship. The Rotaract Club of Karachi Metropolitan is a community based club chartered back in early 2001 and consists of more than 48 dedicated and dynamic members locally and 8 members internationally (serving the club in the form of international contacts and resources) in more than 4 countries on 3 continents. The club has a rich legacy of service in all the four arenas (namely: club, community, professional development and international). The club, over the years, has been dubbed as the best club in the RI District of 3271 Pakistan and is the only Rotaract club to be awarded the best club by the District Governor (IPDG Iqbal Qureshi) at the District conference moreover The Rotaract Club of Karachi Metropolitan has been awarded the best club 4 times out of the last 5 years, owing to its unique approach toward solving the society’s problem and providing its members with creative opportunities for personality development and professional progress. It draws people with social conscience and those with a drive to make a difference and take charge of their lives.
