The National Police Award Ceremony 2026 was successfully organized by the Friends Club of Pakistan (FCOP) in collaboration with the International Police Association (IPA) Sindh Region 5. The prestigious ceremony brought together senior police officials, law enforcement agencies, government representatives, civil society, legal experts, business leaders, media professionals, and distinguished guests from across Pakistan.
The event was graced by Mr. Najmi Alam, Minister for Katchi Abadis, Government of Sindh, and Former Inspector General of Police Sindh, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, PSP, as the Chief Guests.
Among the distinguished guests were Dr. Muhammad Asim Kareem (Director General Fisheries, Government of Sindh), Syed Makhdoom Ali Riaz (Chairman, Pakistan American Cultural Center β PACC), Rev. Emmanuel Saba (United Church of Pakistan), Syed Akhtar Mir (Provincial Secretary, Sindh Boy Scouts Association), Dr. Haseena Jamali (Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department), renowned wrestler Sher Khan, and many other prominent personalities.
The Chief Guests congratulated the organizers for this remarkable national initiative, emphasizing that recognizing the dedication, sacrifice, professionalism, integrity, and public service of police officers strengthens public trust and enhances the morale of Pakistan's law enforcement community.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat-e-Rasool (ο·Ί), and the National Anthem, followed by speeches highlighting the indispensable role of police in maintaining law and order, combating crime, intelligence operations, cyber security, traffic management, women's protection, community policing, and public service.
Outstanding police officers and law enforcement professionals were honoured with the National Police Awards 2026 in recognition of excellence, leadership, bravery, innovation, integrity, and distinguished public service.
