🚀 Bridging Technology and Empathy: Field Testing the "Smart Blind Stick"

We are proud to share a significant milestone achieved by our 3rd-year students from the Department of Electronic Engineering.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Musharraf Alam (Batch Advisor), our students, recently visited a local NGO to conduct real-world testing of their innovative project, the "Smart Blind Stick."

The visit provided invaluable insights into User-Centered Design, allowing the team to gather direct feedback from visually impaired individuals. This experience goes beyond the classroom, proving that engineering is at its best when it creates solutions that enhance human lives.

DUETECH’25 wasn’t just an event, it was a battlefield. 🤖⚙️

From Robo Soccer, LFR, Robo Race, Robo Sumo to Lightweight battles, teams pushed machines, and themselves, to the limit.

Organized by IEEE DSB and IEEE IES, and powered by our collaborator ZENCODE, the competitions brought together talent from Dawood University, FAST, AIR University, UIT, IIEE, and schools like KPS — all battling across multiple categories with one goal: dominate the arena.

Proudly funded by IEEE and sponsored by Techorse, DUETECH’25 showcased what happens when engineering, competition, and innovation collide.

Here are the highlights from the competitions that defined DUETECH’25.
