About Us
FPCCI is an Apex Trade Body of the Private Sector, licensed by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, regulated under the Trade Organizations Act and the Rules thereunder.
FPCCI, since its inception in 1950, has advocated and voiced the collective opinions, concerns and aspirations of the Private Sector, simultaneously offering useful advice to the Government of Pakistan in its efforts to promote exports, encourage foreign investments and stimulate economic activities in the Country. The FPCCI serves as a bridge between the Private Sector and the Government.
Currently, FPCCI has 59 District Chambers, 17 Women Chambers , 9 Small Chambers, 7 Joint Chambers, and 130 Trade Associations, in total 222 licensed trade organizations.
FPCCI Standing Committee on “Takaful & Window Takaful” is the maiden Committee on “Takaful”. Previously, there was a committee on “Islamic Banking & Takaful” which on the request has been separated and accordingly SC “Takaful & Window Takaful” came into existence.
