Through our Free Sewing & Cutting Training Program, girls and women from underserved and disadvantaged families are learning practical skills in:

Reaching Children with Disabilities in Difficult Areas

Orangi Town, Karachi is a densely populated and underserved area, where many families live in hilly and difficult-to-reach locations. For children with disabilities (PWDs), travelling daily for physiotherapy and rehabilitation can be challenging.

Care to Life Welfare Organization (CLWO) receives children with disabilities from these hilly and underserved areas who need regular physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Due to transportation and financial difficulties, some families cannot bring their children to the center regularly.

Despite these challenges, CLWO is making every effort to reach these children through outreach and community-based services, providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation support in their local communities whenever possible.

Our goal is to ensure that poverty, distance, or disability does not prevent any child from receiving the care and support they need.

Karachi: Today, several newspapers highlighted the work of Care to Life Welfare Organization (CLWO), particularly its programs and services for children with disabilities (PWDs).

Registered with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, CLWO is working to provide rehabilitation, physiotherapy, education, and support services to children with disabilities and their families.

The newspaper coverage highlighted CLWO’s efforts to promote inclusion, dignity, confidence, and opportunities for children with disabilities in underserved communities.
