While we dress up and gather, someone somewhere is holding on to Hope.
This Eid, let’s celebrate with gratitude, kindness and empathy.

For the seen… and the unseen.

Sometimes impact doesn’t look loud.
Sometimes it looks like a 10-year-old girl quietly raising her hand and saying what she felt after a session that once felt like a taboo to talk about. 🥲❤️

Because of your love and support, we have been able to conduct these sessions in Larkana. Something that once felt nearly impossible is slowly becoming a reality.

Here, we try every day not to lose hope.🧚‍♀️

If period conversations were as normal in our homes as other everyday talks with kids, we would raise a generation that is informed, confident, and empowered instead of confused and silent.

Normalize period conversations at home.
Education starts with honest discussions.
Empowered girls start with informed homes.

The problem isn’t periods.
The problem is the silence around them.
Many girls experience their first period with fear, simply because no one talked about it at home.

If we can talk about everything with our children, why not periods?

Our sincere thanks to Britain International School System, Al Habib Campus, Larkana for giving these young girls a safe space to learn, ask questions, and break the silence around menstrual health.🩸👭🏼

Our IOH Ambassador, 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗿𝗮𝗵, held her first Menstrual Health & Community Session with the girls at Britain International School System, Al Habib Campus, Larkana, Sindh.

Impacting (𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀) 20+ young girls in the 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽. 🌸

Through open conversations, basic menstrual health education, and interactive learning, the session aimed to 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 young girls with 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 before they experience their first period.

We are grateful to Britain International School System for welcoming us into your space and supporting the importance of early menstrual health education.

Because awareness before the first period can change a girl’s entire experience.

Our IOH Ambassador, Eilaf Shaikh, held her first Menstrual Health & Community Session with the girls at Global Science College in Larkana, Sindh.

Every time we conduct a community session, it becomes a space of shared learning, where voices are heard, questions are welcomed, and growth happens on both sides.

Our hearts are full. 🤍
We are incredibly proud of our IOH Ambassadors for dedicating their knowledge, time, and compassion to empower their communities.

Every day, countless voices are silenced… but why?

Because in a world shaped by patriarchy, power often speaks louder than pain.
Because survivors are blamed instead of believed.
Because “log kya kahenge” becomes more important than justice.
Because systems protect reputations, not women.
Because fear is taught early and silence is rewarded.

UN Women defines gender-based violence as harm directed at a person because of their gender and it remains one of the most widespread human rights violations globally.

In Pakistan, especially in cities like Karachi and smaller towns like Larkana, the issue is not just violence, it’s normalization.
•Emotional abuse.
•Financial control.
•Harassment.
•Forced silence.

But here’s the real question:
What would happen if we stopped whispering and started documenting, archiving, speaking?

As someone building spaces for dialogue and leadership, your voice already carries weight. When leaders speak, rooms shift.

Maybe the better question is not “why are voices silenced?”
But “who benefits from that silence?”

Had our final session of ‘𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲’ on 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 at SZABIST IMC, Larkana, Sindh.
Grateful for the space, the conversations, and the courage in the room.
Ending this chapter with purpose and pride.

From silence to dialogue, from hesitation to courage…
