Today at WHWO, we welcomed an HIV-positive couple and their 3-year-old daughter—each bravely navigating the challenges of living with HIV.
As part of our commitment to dignity, care, and community support, our team provided psychosocial counseling along with essential assistance to help them manage their immediate needs.

At WHWO, every family deserves compassion, respect, and a safe space—because HIV is a health condition, not an identity.
We stand with them, and with all individuals living with HIV, to ensure they are never alone. Pakistan is home to about 200 million people, but has one of the poorest mental health indicators and less than 500 psychiatrists for this population size. This paucity of mental health professionals in Pakistan creates a massive treatment gap, leaving more than 90% of people with common mental disorders untreated.
Women Health and Welfare Organization started a small step to spread awareness regarding mental health and start talking about small issues. DR. Qurrat Jibran took an awareness session on mental health at a small village Hassan Ali Rind' Mirpurkhas.

Women Health and Welfare Organization's Social enterprise "Aanchal by Muntaha Jibran "participated in a meena bazar that organized by APLHIV at Loak Versa' Shakerpariyan, Islamabad.
Aanchal by Muntaha Jibran , showcase our hand-made stuff made by HIV positive females and families.
It's an initiative to empower these women and creat care and support system for them to facilitate their financial and support their medical needs( tests' multivitamins ' general medicens ets).

By the grace of God Women Health & Welfare Organization conducted a successful Free Medical Camp Camp at Ziauddin Kemari Campus with the support of Welfare AID and Living Science. We provided free Hap C, B, HIV and TB screening and free medicens. We also provided free lab services for non affordable families. Even a community member got free blood tests rupees of 12000.
Special thanks of Dr. Fasiha Sohail ( professor medicen and Dean of kemari ziauddin campus) Dr. Nadra and Dr. Saira ( Family Medicens), Dr. Zubaida (Gaynecologist), Dr. Fatima (Skin), Mr. Salman Khan, Mr. Iftekhar, Mr. Niaz Qadir, Mr. Abbas and Mr. Waqar.
